The previous chefATL marketing team did a phenomenal job of building a strong social media strategy.
We not only immersed ourselves in the strategy but also brainstormed ways to create higher-quality and more entertaining content.

The Problem
The library of behind-the-scenes content for chefATL’s episodes, specifically episode 5, needs to ensure continuity and relevance for potential future use by SCAD.

My Role
Marketing Manager, On-Screen Talent Producer
What is chefATL?
chefATL is an original SCAD Atlanta student-produced docuseries. Students and local chefs explore the diversity of Atlanta through its dynamic culinary landscape. The production is a collaboration involving more than 100 students across nine SCAD degree programs and was shot on location at SCAD Film Studios in Midtown Atlanta.
During Summer 2024, chefATL started the production of episode 5, in collaboration with the popular restaurant “Le Bon Nosh”, co-hosted by chef Forough Vakili and writer Osayi Endolyn. Episode 5 stars SCAD students Elisa Boulton, Jonathan Grant, and Celine Vo.
Strategy
Astral Projection (content creation schedule).
We started by introducing a media day concept, allowing our team to highlight the crew of episode 5 of chefATL.
By analyzing timeless trends on various social media platforms, we assigned different short-format video ideas to the established territories from chefATL’s social media strategy.
The Solution
Professional, yet fun headshots were taken to spotlight the crew during a newly introduced media day, prior to the production of episode 5 of chefATL, .

Short-format videos following trendy and timeless structures were created for potential usage in the future development of official chefATL social media platforms.
Results
The content creation for episode 5 of chefATL received overwhelming positive feedback.,
WABE partnered with SCAD to distribute and host chefATL. The video series premiered in late spring/early summer 2025 on WABE TV (PBS-30).
Following its debut, the series is accessible to audiences nationwide via PBS Passport.

Problem

How can we ensure continuity and relevance for the content created?
My team was given the responsibility to create social media content, along with capturing behind-the-scenes images, to contribute to the library of behind-the-scenes content for all chefATL episodes.
Captured content of the production of episode 5 includes behind-the-scenes, slice of life, and emotive portraiture.
The content that is created needs to be structured in a way that guarantees continuity and relevance if the visual media is to be used: in a week, a month, or even a year.
Branded ephemera was designed for future production ideas.
Behind-the-scenes images from the production were captured.
