Microsoft Design Challenge

SCAD GENERATE is a 24-hour event held annually on the SCAD Atlanta campus, wherein students come together in professor-led art competitions and create innovative solutions for sponsored design challenges! SCAD GENERATE collaborated with Microsoft to create a 24-hour design challenge.

Michael Edward - Microsoft Representative

Maya Nayak - Creative Director and Presentation Designer

Mari Olan - Art Director

Tanvi Senapati - Copywriter

Shravya Raghupathy - Graphic Designer

The Challenge:

Develop a secure yet seamless authentication system for AR and VR environments, focusing on balancing security with immersive user experience, avoiding disruptions to the flow of the experience.

In 24 hours, we created…

Aubra

a plug-in program that is compatible with any VR/ AR operating system. Aubra adds gamification elements for the security of AR/ VR systems.

Inspired by the protection and playfulness of umbrellas…

Generative AI

assisted in the development of this system. Utilizing a B2B model, the plug-in adds additional layers of biometric security if not available, while integrating into a user’s security ecosystem with many features.

Aubra is visually present during the usage of your VR/ AR device and sends updates and notifications to ensure a secure space while rewarding consistent usage within their system of preference.

I presented my team’s final pitch to Microsoft designers:
